    He would serve with the 490th Bombardment group of the US Army Air Force.
    This letter sent to his parents M/m Joseph Sr. & Fannie (Carano) Ross of Mansfield Ohio.
    James Ross was [one of] the last surviving member of the 490th Bomber squadron when he died in 2016.
