    Description

    1944 Forwarding Letter for Officer of Cavalry, John Selden Halsey (appointed 2nd Lt. Cav.
    Res.). This letter if from the War Department, through the Commandant, Cavalry OCS, Fort Riley, Kansas.  It is signed by the Major General, The Adjutant General.  I can't make out the signature.
    In very good condition; there is a bit of toning to the paper, some stains, the edges are a but roughed, there is a small tear at the top right hand edge, wrinkling.
