The
1970s Wedding Gown Collection
includes all the outfits shown in the photo—five bridal gowns with accessories for Barbie and a tuxedo for Ken. These are quality reproductions of vintage 1960s patterns from my personal collection.
Patterns include--
McCall's 3429, 1972—Lovely gown has a high waist, long sleeves gathered to self ruffles and lace edging trim. Net Veil is waist length.
Simplicity 5330, 1972—This gown features a skirt with lace appliques gathered to the bodice with lace sleeves. The lace Veil is gathered at the top. The Tuxedo Jacket is lined with long sleeves and turn-back lapel.
Simplicity 7210, 1975—The wedding gown has lace edging with lace trim and long sleeves gathered with elastic forming self ruffles. The net veil is sewn to purchased flowers.
Simplicity 8281, 1977—Gown is lace trimmed with shelf ruffle, sheer gathered sleeves and ribbon belt. The Veil is hip length with flower trim.
Simplicity 9097, 1970—The wedding gown or bridesmaid dress features an empire waistline, stand-up collar, long gathered sleeves and ribbon tie belt and lace trim. The Veil is floor length and trimmed with flowers.
Simplicity 9194, 1980--Softly gathered Gown has two rows of ruffled lace at hem, long sleeves gathered to ruffles and a rounded low neckline with ruffle trim. Veil is hip length.
You will receive a color print of the gowns, fabric requirements for each, black and white copies of all instructions, and black and white copies of all pattern pieces. Everything has been scanned and digitally cleaned. Any pieces too large for regular size copy paper will include easy connection instructions.
In addition to Barbie, these patterns also fits a large variety of other Teen Age Fashion Model dolls like Babette, Tina, Midge, Stacy, PJ, Christie, Babs and others.
