Herm Sprenger snaffles are our favorite bits here at Brassy! If we needed another personal bit, this one would call our tack room home. This 5", new with tags, from one of the most popular line of bits from HS. Duo Bits are a great option for horses who desire a softer, synthetic material for their bit. This one is new with tags, but the white material has a tendency to pick up color. Very minor color transfer on this bit, but minor and we are just being picky.
Per Herm Sprenger: The Herm Sprenger Duo Loose Ring bit is very gentle on the horse’s mouth and tongue, and very comfortable. The mouthpiece is made of soft, flexible plastic which adapts to the horse’s mouth in an ideal way. The material is food-safe, solvent-free and does not contain any plasticisers. The mouthpiece is reinforced with a steel cable to make it stable and to provide more security. This bit can be used on both sides, either as a straight edged flexible bar or with a low port that leaves space for the tongue.
