This repair service covers only the logic/mother board
and it is our primary concern upon receiving your system.
Our flat-rate pricing will cover any issue(s) with the logic board.
If off-board components need to be repaired/replaced, such as the keyboard, LCD, or battery, we will contact you before proceeding. (Additional costs may apply.) If no service is required on the main board, and it is actually an off-board component that was causing the issue, the amount prepaid will go towards the repair/replacement of that part instead. (Excess prepayment will be returned accordingly.) We will always contact you with updates to keep you informed on our work.
*We strive to give you a full picture of all of the necessary repairs before we begin, but it is oftentimes necessary to repair the logic board first before we are able to fully test your system. Our free diagnostics service covers the logic board and a preliminary test of all peripheral components, but is not a dedicated test to determine full functionality. For a full functionality test with ASD (Apple Service Diagnostics) and stress testing software, the logic board will usually need to be repaired first.
Please note that our services are most effective with systems that have not been tampered with previously. If repairs have already been attempted on your system, repairs can be much more difficult and time consuming. In addition to our diagnostics, we will need to determine if previous repairs were done properly and if they need to be undone before proceeding with own, which can cause delays. Tampered systems will also need to go through an extended stress testing process, once repairs have been completed, to ensure longevity. Due to the unpredictability, and extended repair time of tampered systems, there may be a small additional fee for all systems that have had repairs performed on it previously. We will always try our best to avoid implementing this additional fee, but in the unlikely case that it is absolutely necessary, we will contact you to inform you of the additional cost before proceeding with repairs.
In the rare case your system is not repairable, or you choose to cancel the repair, your system will be return to you as is. Your purchase will also be refunded, minus to cover return shipping. If cancelled, repairs that have been completed up to the point of cancellation will be charged accordingly. (ex. Logic board repaired, but additional repairs declined. Successful logic board repair will be charged. Free return shipping is still applicable for all successful logic board repairs, regardless of declined additional repairs.)
*If your system is not repairable and we have the parts available, we may offer a logic board replacement as a possible solution to get a working system back to you. You may choose to accept, or decline our offer at your own discretion with no penalties. If accepted, your prepayment will go towards the cost of the replacement board. If declined, your refund and the return of your system will be processed normally.
- A logic board replacement is our last resort and is only offered if there is absolutely no other solution. We always strive to repair your system first and will expend all other options before even considering replacing the board.
Our usual
turnaround time for repairs is 2-4 business days
, but additional time may be needed if parts need to be ordered. (Our handling time is only set to 30 days on eBay to account for the time it takes for us to receive the system from you and as a precaution if we need to wait for parts. All of our repairs are normally completed and shipped back before the estimate provided by eBay.) If additional time is necessary, we will contact you with an update.
We also provide
expedited services for an additional ,
