Auction is for one (1) Barrett Brake drum Check-R, model B-240B
Capacity 6 1/2" -18 1/4" drum.  NOTICE,  there are 2 separate main shafts for small and large drums
This tool is NOS, never used, or sold. Found at a cleanout of a Vintage auto/truck parts distribution center
Barrett was a brake specialty Co. a part of FMC, John Bean division.  These names are simply are the
best quality tools and machines built
You get the gauge, 2 main shafts (for different drums), original box, and instructions
In Pa auto and truck inspection stations are still required to have a drum checker on hand to be able to certify vehicles.  This tool can be used, certainly its intended use, or put in a display of a vintage shop or gas station
The only think I see cosmetically is , looks like dried new machine oil on the gauge face. We didn't touch it, and not going to.  what You see is what we saw when we opened the box, possibly decades closed, and on a parts shelf in a tool room.
