    ER048 Very rare Taiwan Republic 1973 Year 62 Chiang Kai-Shek Yuan Mint Error - Obverse Die Cap 5 Yuan NGC MS65.  KM-Y548.  A dramatic mint error produced by the sticking of the planchet to the obverse die, leaving a cupped obverse rim and an incuse impression of the obverse design upon the reverse. Rare, brilliant, and attractively preserved for this fascinating error type.  The regular obverse should show 5 Yuan instead of Chiang Kai-Shek avatar. I believe this rarity and significance will earn a place in the advanced collection of China Mint errors.
