GEN 1: You have a Gen 1 KSG if when you remove the selector switch ONLY the small center screw is holding it in place to pivot the switch.
GEN 2:  You have a Gen 2 KSG if when you remove the stock selector switch you see a STEEL pin sticking up that pivots the switch.
