Description
This is theEPIC
ball bearing guide
, the
Next G
eneration
in guides for the Imported 18" band saw, check your
Grizzly
or Jet etc.
Here's the best part:
This guide cuts
much
higher
than the original guide and
WAY higher
than the competition.
In fact the lowest part of the guide is only 11/16" lower than the
BOTTOM
of the guide post
, a big advantage for those cutting very thick material or re-sawing wide boards.
I have manufactured over 4,500 of the first generation ball bearing guides and shipped them all over the USA and to over 30 countries, worldwide.

to see these in action and for a comparison of guide cutting heights.
Please examine the "Will it fit?" picture and confirm that those are your dimensions.
You
MUST
do so before ordering this guide to insure that it will fit. It mounts with the locking screw on the back of the post. It handles blade widths from 1/8" to 1/2" in the single bearing mode, 5/8" to 3/4" in the dual bearing mode and will incredibly improve the accuracy, performance, blade life and provide a smoother running saw. It eliminates the metal on metal wear of guide blocks and the constant need of adjustment in an effort to control the blade. Unlike other guides there is no aluminum or die cast parts and no scraping along the side of a back up bearing. It's made of steel and will last a lifetime. Plus all the moving parts are easily replaceable. The fasteners are grade 8. The precision ball bearings are lubricated and sealed, the installation is easy and adjustment is simple. We do not make the lower guides. This upper guide provides the control for the blade as it enters the wood. The blade is virtually locked straight ahead. Included is a manual for adjusting blade tension, blade tracking, installation and adjusting, etc. Plus it's MADE IN USA.
