    Often referred to as the Balkenhol snaffle, this bit has been used successfully for many years.
    There has been no change in it's design as it fits the criteria as described by the research done by the University.
    This bit fills the needs of a horse that requires a broken mouth snaffle, or bradoon, but at the same this is shaped so as to minimize the nutcracker action while still being a bit stronger than the three piece snaffle.
