Bring your Early/Late 2011 15-inch MacBook Pro back to life with this new permanent fix. Instead of replacing the bad GPU with another GPU that can potentially fail in the same fashion, we can bypass/disable the AMD GPU completely! This fix will reprogram the motherboard to use the Intel CPU based GPU instead of the discrete AMD GPU (which is the root cause of most failures for the 2011 model year). Once reprogrammed, you will no longer have to worry about things such as a PRAM reset removing your configuration or temporary software/EFI solutions failing due to a bad reset or firmware update.

Brightness control should work, however if it does not, then you would have to use a third-party application to control it as it varies per board & macOS version

Instructions
After you pay for service, the following will occur:

Wrap the board in ESD safe bubble wrap if available
§
Ship the board to us.
§
Work will begin on the board within 24 hours of the board being received unless otherwise noted.
§
We ship the board back to you. We will pay all applicable shipping charges for return shipping.
Warranty
We offer a 1 year warranty for all work completed. This fix will typically last the for the remainder of the MacBooks life as there is no risk of accidently undoing it. If there are any problems related the fix that come up, please reach out to us and we will get back in a timely manner with a resolve.
Shipping
Return shipping will be done via USPS Priority Mail. Other services will be available at additional cost to the buyer.
