This is a new (without tags) Herm Sprenger  KK Ultra Ring Snaffle bit 5", 15 mm
.
• The gentle joint in the middle which is angled forward - the characteristic feature of the KK ULTRA.  It takes
advantage of the exceptional sensitivity of the horse’s tongue which multiplies the perceptions from signals given by the bit. When the reins are pulled the middle part of the KK ULTRA fully rests on the tongue without squeezing and the connection rings roll on the tongue. The tongue’s sense of touch is utilized and clear instructions can be given.

The Sensogan bit material developed by Sprenger – is the result of additional development and consequently the improvement of their original material, Aurigan. They have built on the success and positive features of Aurigan, specifically the taste and salivation aspects to give an even more delicate and sophisticated connection to the horse. It is the distinctive composition of copper, manganese and zinc that makes SENSOGAN® so special.
The D-Rings prevent the bit from being pulled through the horse’s mouth so it lies more steadily on the tongue giving a more comfortable feeling. Gentle pressure is pivoted directly onto the tongue ensuring light and precise rein aids. The fixed rings enable the rider a good contact with the bit.
