    Description

    New in unopened box is a Die-Cast Metal Philippine Kalesa.  This is a horse drawn carriage.  It measures about 6" long.  The carriage is red with white seats, yellow trim and yellow wheel spokes.  The horse is brown. The top of the box has a description that reads:  "Very nuch like the European horse-drawn carriages, the Kalesa was a very popular means of transportation in the Philippines before the advent of the motorized vehicles.  At present, there are still a few Kalesas that ply the streets, most specially in Chinatown".   The top of the box has a partial price sticker and part of the top layer of paper of the box is torn away.  Possibly it had some tape on it that was pulled off.
