    Description

    Black Polymer Tactical HEAT SHIELD for MOSSBERG 12 GA plain smooth barrel shotguns.  Will not fit vent rib, heavy walled or slug barrels with barrel mounted aft sights.
    Heat shield is made from black Zytel fiberglass resin and attaches to 12 gauge pump shotgun barrels behind retaining ring/lug and extends to receiver shielding users from hot barrels.

    This heat shield will only work with the 12 gauge pump model shotgun smooth barrels.
    This shield will fit 18" and longer barrels
    13 3/4" long and fits behind mounting lug of 6 (5 + 1) round models
    Will fit 8 (7 + 1) round models but only cover the forend to receiver area of the barrel
    Tactical versions may require minor modification
    Magpul forends and others that extend above the barrel line may conflict with the Heat Shield
    Will not fit 590A1, Mav 88 Security, Chainsaw, Shockwave and other 'Heavy Walled' barrel models or sight mounted slug barrels
