Offered for sale is a what is usually described as a beautiful English Red & White Vintage Sadler Windsor Brigadoon Tea Pot decorated with transfer print!
Brigadoon apparently refers to an idyllic place, not affected by time, remote from reality. The legend of Brigadoon focuses on a mythical village in the Scottish Highlands that presumably has those characteristics, like the quaint scenes portrayed on this teapot.
The teapot
is about 6 1/2" tall by about  9 1/
.
8" wide. It is in very good vintage condition with no chipping or cracking being found. The pot does
have some minor wear and tear, including some rubbing, scratching, discoloration spots including brown residue found inside the spout from prior usage, some tiny pin holing  and tiny bumps and coloring outside the lines from the manufacturing process, and lastly some dirt.
