    Description

    This is a great value for this grouping.
    This is a 1945 - post war original letters and document lot from a B-17 bombardier. The letters were written by
    an ETO Very young Bombardier, Lt. Harold O. Simms.
    The letters were
    written to Miss, Charolette Dial of Dallas Texas and are 1945 dates. The letters are three pages long each and have envelopes. Also there are two Military documents dated from 1947 and 1951.
    About
    Lt. Harold O. Simms:
    Lt. Harold O. Simms was one of the youngest Bombardiers in WWII and he was flying missions over Germany at age 21 - 22 years of age.
    I know that Lt. Simms was awarded the
    Air Medal during WWII and other awards.
    He survived 30 combat missions then came back to the US and became a bombing instructor and
    pilot for the US Air Force. This would be a great pilot to research.
    Please look at photos for content, there's a copy of a letter that describes his Army Air Corps /Air Force career.
